Do you find cardio training boring or are you a fair-weather athlete? Then our conditioning class is perfect for you. Our experienced instructors guide you through this 60-minute cardio session from start to finish. They make sure you get the most out of yourself and keep you motivated until the very last minute. With our Morpheus system, the trainer tracks your heart rate throughout the class to see if you should push harder or slow down. This prevents overtraining or injury and makes it very accessible for both beginners and advanced athletes.
What can you expect during the training?

Check-in & Set-up
After you’ve filled your water bottle, you’ll do a 2-minute recovery check to see how fit your body is today. You then head to the Bamboo Basement where the trainer tells you what weights you need, and if you don’t have a heart rate monitor, you can borrow one from us.

Cardio equipment block
You’ll start with 5 others for 7 minutes of cardio on a bike, ski erg, or rower, challenging yourself with short intervals and sprints to upbeat music.

Strength block
The other half of the group gets to work on exercises that make your muscles burn—soreness guaranteed. We switch a total of 6 times.

WHY IS THIS CLASS SO GOOD?
We work with dynamic heart rate zones. This means if you haven’t slept well because your child is sick, your heart rate zones automatically adjust so you leave the class feeling fitter than when you started. With other heart rate systems, your zones are fixed, which can lead to overtraining or injury.
